🇰🇿 UAM Demonstration Flight for the Government of Kazakhstan

Project Overview
This project was launched to support international expansion of Korean UAM systems and initiate bilateral cooperation with the Kazakhstani government. The full-scale manned aircraft was demonstrated to key government officials in an outdoor field test, validating autonomous functions such as takeoff, hovering, and directional control.
The event showcased technical reliability under real conditions and highlighted South Korea’s capabilities in exporting operational eVTOL platforms for urban mobility applications abroad.
My Contributions
- Led adaptation of control systems and UI for international demonstration
- Managed aircraft transport and reassembly in Kazakhstan field location
- Coordinated local operation protocols and safety procedures
Outcomes
- First UAM field test and public flight demonstration in Kazakhstan
- Initiated K-UAM visibility in Central Asia through successful execution
- Established groundwork for MoU discussions and joint collaboration
